Welcome to Our Daily Bread Designs' April Release and Blog Hop!

April here we come!  Are you as excited about warmer weather as I am?  April showers certainly bring May flowers and we have some wonderful sets to showcase today with that very theme in mind!  Don't forget to play along and comment at each one of the stops on today's hop.  Why, you ask?  Because, three randomly selected winners will each receive a $25 gift certificate to the ODBD Store, to be used toward the purchase of ODBD Stamps found in the "stamps column" of the website just for commenting on the Design Team cards!  You have until April 2, 2015 at 9:00 p.m. EDT to leave your comments on the Designers Blogs for a chance to win!  The Winners will be posted on the ODBD Blog on April 3rd, so be sure to check back there to see if you won!

I have a couple of projects to share today.  My first is a step card featuring the new die, Layered Lacey Squares and How Great Thou Art stamp set...

I created the step card base with white card stock and matted the upper sections with navy CS.  A bit of DP from the Christian Faith Paper Collection adorns the side and center panel.  I stamped the sentiment (the new How Great Thou Art set) in blue ink and die cut/framed it with the new Layered Lacey Squares Die.  If you look closely, there are actually three layers to the panel I created.  You will love this die...  it is SO versatile!

I adhered the sentiment panel to the middle and cut out some white flowers (Asters and Leaves Die) and foliage Fancy Foliage Die.  I added a tiny sentiment and label die created with a few older items (Mini Tags Die and Mini Tag Sentiments).  The final touch...  a few black microbeads for the flower centers...

Here's a close up!

I think I got a bit ahead of myself.  Didn't I say April Showers bring May flowers?  Take a look at this new stamp set, Shower of Blessings, Umbrellas Die and Cloud and Raindrops Die.

I started with a white card stock base, Kraft mat and beautiful DP from ODBD's Shabby Rose Paper Collection.  I added the die cut umbrella (paper pieced with Shabby Rose Paper leftovers), baker's twine bow and tiny hearts.  And what about those clouds?  Aren't they cute???  I stamped the sentiment directly on the paper panel with a rich cocoa ink.

So here are the new items you see today...

and some of the older items...

Don't forget about our blog hop!  If you get lost along the way, stop back by the ODBD Blog.

I can't wait to see what the Bread Sticks have in store...

A Look Back at Our Daily Bread Designs' December Release

Today we are taking a look back at Our Daily Bread Designs' December Release.  Here is the card I created using Mini Tag Sentiments, Gilded Gate Die and Mini Tags Die  along with the new Patriotic Paper Collection PLUS some older releases! For more inspiration using the December Release be sure to visit the ODBD Blog.

I stamped my sentiment on white card stock and used the coordinating Mini Tags Die to create my sign.  The wrought iron gate is courtesy of the new Gilded Gate Die.  The background paper is from the Patriotic Paper Collection.  The new items are shown below.

I used several older dies to create my scene including the
Cathedral Window and Borders Die...

Beautiful Borders Die
for the curtain treatment...

and Fancy Foliage Die for my greenery...
I added a few liquid pearls
to mimic mistletoe...

And here are a few of the other projects I have featured this month using items from the new release...

Now don't forget to hop along and see what the other designers have in store for you.  If you should get turned around along the way, stop back at the ODBD Blog to find your way.  Thanks again for spending a few moments of your day with me!

Blessings!!
