~ Have a Holly Jolly Christmas ~

Happy Friday morning!  Today's project features an Our Daily Bread Designs' stamp from last year AND a new coordinating die released this month!  I love coordinating dies!  They make my finished projects so much easier.  I love this image and last year I fussy cut the image.  That took a bit of time and patience!  Now I can just line up the die and cut away!  LOVE THAT!

Today's card features the Holly Wreath stamp and coordinating Holly Wreath Die...

~ Faith in God ~

Good Thursday morning to you!  I hope this note finds you well.  The last few days have been "challenging" to say the least at our hacienda!  I have managed to kill not 1, BUT 2 die cut machines!  This has put a terrible crimp in my crafting style.  Not to mention a crimp in my wallet...

Unfortunately, I also have some health issues to contend with.  It seems the change in weather has definitely changed how I feel.  (Not to mention the fact I have been so busy I forgot important medication for 2 days...)  ***YES, I'm losing it***  It has been brought to my attention that I MUST take better care of myself.  And that means eliminating stress.  ***Really?  rolling my eyes***

So here's to crafting...  the ultimate relaxation...  until my crafting equipment fails...  lol

and some of the items you see...

and some of the other items used today...

Supplies

Paper - Georgia Pacific, American Crafts Jack Frost, Bazzill

And a very special shout out to Frantic Stamper, Cheery Lynn Designs and Flying Unicorn for providing our prizes!  We appreciate your generosity so very much!  Please take a few moments to thank these companies!

This week we are visiting the book of Ecclesiastes...

I used an ecru card stock base (5.5 x 4.25 inches) with a Kraft mat.  I then pulled coordinating scraps from Prima's Something Blue Paper Collection.  I printed our scripture on one of the panels and added a Prima blossom with die cut greenery and branches.  Super easy!

Supplies

Paper - Staples, The Paper Studio, Prima Something Blue
Dies - Our Daily Bread Designs Fancy Foliage Die
Blossom - Prima

Thanks for stopping by!  Until next time...

~ Each Tree ~ Luke 6:44

This scripture really hit home this week.  Have you ever had a time in your spiritual walk where you felt woefully short?  We know that we are sinners saved by grace but yet deep down we yearn (I know I do) for ways to please our Heavenly Father.  And most days I feel like my offerings are nothing but filthy rags!  This particular scripture reminded me that it isn't about going through the motions and/or getting wrapped up in what we are doing but really DOING IT!  Convicted yet again?  I just love how the Word of God can continually speak to us, don't you?

Today's card...

I used Our Daily Bread Designs' Vintage Flourish Pattern Die and Vintage Labels Die nested together to create the frame center.  My card base is ecru card stock.  I stamped the image with Memento's Rich Cocoa and positioned the sentiment to the side.  I didn't color this image because I wanted an old photo feel...

Here's the products you see including
this month's Autumn Tree stamp set...

Rewind and Revisit Our Daily Bread Designs' October Release

Welcome!  Today we are taking a look back at Our Daily Bread Designs' October Release!  Here is the card I created using Christmas Pennant Row stamp, Matting Circles Die and Peaceful Poinsettias Die.  I also used some old favorites...Pennant Row Die, Fancy Foliage Die and Circle Ornaments Die.
For more inspiration using the October Release be sure to visit the ODBD Blog.
Here's my project...
I started with a stone colored card stock base and a white card stock mat.  I used the Matting Circles Die and Circle Ornaments Die to create my watch fob "window."  I stamped the sentiment (Christmas Pennant Row) in an evergreen shade on white paper and used the coordinating Pennant Row Die to cut it out.  I just love this new poinsettia created with the Peaceful Poinsettias Die.  The Fancy Foliage Die adds lovely greenery sprigs highlighted with holly found in the Circle Ornaments Die set.  I love Christmas projects, don't you?
Here's the items you see!
