Welcome to Our Daily Bread Designs' February Release and Blog Hop!

Good morning and welcome to the February release at Our Daily Bread Designs!  We offered a special sneak peek a few weeks ago and a chance to buy some of the items bundled.  So if you didn't have a chance to then...  take a moment and stroll through the items the Design Team as for you!  I opted to use a few items from this release including the Glorious Gable Box DieMini Label DieHugs & Kisses stamp set, Layering Hearts DieTulip Heart Die and Let Love Grow stamp set.

And this month, three randomly selected winners will each receive a $25 Gift Code to the ODBD Website  just for commenting on the Design Team cards!  You have until February 2, 2017 at 9:00 p.m. EST to leave your comments on the Designers Blogs for a chance to win!  The Winners will be posted on the ODBD Blog on February 3rd, so be sure to check back there to see if you won!

So let's begin with a fun treat box that I whipped up for St. Patrick's Day...

I started with green card stock and the new Glorious Gable Box Die.  I stamped my sentiment (Hugs & Kisses) on white card stock and used the new Mini Label Die set to create the sentiment panel and frame.  I added a tiny golden "shamrock" using an old favorite, Bitty Blossoms Die.

And the new items you see...

along with an old favorite...

I started with a 4.5 x 5.5 red card stock base adding a bit of white and red card stock, DP from the Shabby Rose Collection and the Pierced Rectangles Die to create three layers.  I then used the Glorious Gable Box Die (top panel of box) layered end to end to create the filigree panel on my white CS layer.  I pulled out my Leafy Edged Borders Die to create the scalloped edge and then stamped the sentiment (Let Love Grow) with Versamark.  A bit of white embossing powder and my trusty heat gun finished it off.  After cooling, I added three flat backed pearls.  I finished the card with a white heart (Tulip Heart Die) and red card stock backing (Layering Hearts Die.)  A bit of dimensional foam makes it pop!

So here are the new items you see...

~ Quilting Friends are the Best! ~

Good morning!  The weather is a bit dreary here.  I keep reminding myself that April showers bring May flowers.  I can't wait to see some of my late spring favorites come into bloom...  the iris, peonies and cabbage rose...  And speaking of my Grandmother's cabbage rose...  here is a fun card I made in almost the exact shade of rich pink!

I started with a white card stock base cut at 4.25 inches x 11 inches, scoring and folding at 5.5 inches
I added a rich raspberry mat featuring Boho Bolds Paper Pad

White Card Stock and ODBD's Beautiful Boho Paper Collection die cut with ODBD's

ODBD and Cardmaker Blog Hop!

Welcome!  Thank you so very much for stopping by!  I am so excited to be a part of today's Our Daily Bread Designs and CardMaker hop!  For today's hop we are taking a look at some of ODBD's Christmas stamps, dies and papers.  I couldn't wait to go through my stash and make another Christmas card for my stash.  For this project I used ODBD's Christmas Tunes stamp set...

I started with a rich burgundy base measuring 5.5 x 4.25 inches.  I slightly smaller gold card stock mat frames the distressed designer paper from ODBD's Christmas Paper Collection 2015.  I added a gold rectangular die cut (Double Stitched Rectangles Die) and a curved sentiment (Christmas Tunes) panel created with the Leafy Edged Borders Die.  A paper poinsettia created with ODBD's Peaceful Poinsettias Die and greenery (Fancy Foliage Lovely Leaves Die sets) finish the spray.  I love the contrast of the formal gold card stock with the distressed DP...

So here are some of the Christmas items you see today...

and some other ODBD products you see...

I hope you are having fun perusing all of the lovely projects featuring Our Daily Bread Design's products.  Your next stop on today's hop is the lovely Gina Williams Cagle.  Thanks again and have a wonderful day!
