A Non-traditional Sympathy Card

I struggle with sympathy cards. So this time I decided to go non-traditional. I selected ODBD's On Eagles' Wings. The design is very simple. The base is kraft with a slight layer of pattern paper under the image. I have popped this layer up to allow a bit of lace to peek out. I felt like the upper corner of the card needed a little something so I quickly punched out a circle and used the negative to mask a sun. Thanks so much for stopping by! And as always have a wonderful day!

Oh Scrap!

Happy 4th of July to those of you reading this in the USA! I decided to do one more card in celebration of our country. And even better I used scraps from two of the cards I posted earlier this week! In the words of the great Philosopher (Hannibal, from the A team) "I love it when a plan comes together." :-) Here's hoping you and yours have a safe and festive July 4th!

Isaiah 40:31

I love using scriptures on my cards. But until now I generated it using Word on my computer. Our Daily Bread Designs has some wonderful stamps that relate to scripture. One of my favorites is Isaiah 40:31. I love the imagery of the eagle and particularly it's meaning to the United States. Hope you soar today too!
