CTMH ~ Faith Shines Bright ~

Happy Monday!  Hope this bright morning finds you well!  Today, I have a card to share using Close To My Heart's stamp of the month, Illuminate.  I purchased this recently from a good friend, Emily and decided to create a clean and simple card.  How did I do?

I stamped the light post in black and added the lantern before coloring the image lightly with Y35.  I added just a bit of Stardust Stickles for a bit of pizzaz.  I also used my much ignored corner rounder to kick it up a notch.  I stamped the sentiment on white card stock along with the "glow" and colored it with the yellow Copic also.  I cut it with a Spellbinder die and added a coordinating scalloped black die to make it pop!  Super easy!  I just might take this clean and simple thing to heart!  ;-)

Be sure to hop over and check out what the Exploring Cricut
crew has to show you today.  I normally post for their challenges but couldn't this week due to illness.  **sniff**  I know Diane and company have a super fun challenge for ya!

Till next time...

Blessings...

And I just have to say, crafters are some of the most AMAZING people in the world!!!  There isn't a warmer bunch of people, whether you like to sew, paint or work with paper...  your love and support just blesses my heart!  So yes, I am very blessed in so many ways and by so many people!  Thank you to everyone reading today!  You truly bless me!

SSIC149 & F4A127 ~ Extraordinary ~

So glad you could join me for a bit of creativity today!  Life has been crazy as of late and my crafting has suffered the brunt!  So when Stampin' Sisters in Christ posted a Clean and Simple challenge I jumped in!  After all, clean and simple is exactly what you need when you barely have time to put ink to paper.  No frills here...

This card measures 4.25 x 5.5 inches and has a white base. For a bit of pop, I selected a DP from Basic Grey's PB & J Paper pad. I created the sentiment panel out of white card stock scored at 1/4 and 1/2 inch intervals on two sides. I selected Our Daily Bread Designs' Little Things stamp set for my sentiment (stamped in black ink). I placed a lovely butterfly adhesive charm for interest.

CAS174 & SRC128 ~ Adventure ~

This week the Clean & Simple crew at Splitcoast are hosting a white on white challenge. First of all clean and simple simply SCARES me! And I can count the number of dominately white cards I have done over the years on one hand! With all of these phobias in mind, this sentiment from Helen Keller says it all...

Just do it! And where have I heard that before? ;-) So with that in mind I am entering this in a new challenge for me this week, Clean and Simple over at Stampin' Royalty.  See ya next time...

CAS174, TLC381 ~ Nothing Will Be Impossible

Thanks so much for stopping by! Today I have another clean and simple card I submitted for a couple of challenges at Splitcoast. I played along with the Clean and Simple Challenge (White on White) and the Try a New Technique (Half it). The dies are some new Memory Box dies I received recently. For my "half" I cut the Bird Cage in Half and adhered it over the bird die cut. Pretty simple! The sentiment is one of my favorites from ODBD's Seed Packet set.

And here it is...

So I'm interested in your feedback! Do you like the Clean & Simple cards I've had or do you like the Fussy & Frilly ones I do? I like both depending on my mood! Operators are standing by... so you may submit your vote! :-) Blessings...
