Now on to the card I am sharing to celebrate this fun day...

This one was based on the weekly sketch challenge at SCS.  I used a spellbinder die to cut my squares and a couple of brand new products from Our Daily Bread Designs
.

and the coordinating Fall Leaves and Acorn Die
set...

I stamped each leaf on Copic compatible paper and colored with fall colors including E25, E55, E35, E04, Y17, YR23, YG95 and YR07.  I used each die to cut the leaf out and adhere to the black square panels.  I stamped the sentiment (Versafine) on the bottom right hand corner.  Dimensional foam on the leaves and their frames makes them pop off the card!  I love using black as an accent color!

Please stop by and visit my other DT sisters and share the love!  They have some beautiful projects to share!  {{hugs}}

Exploring Cricut ~ Peace on Earth ~

Welcome!  Thanks for stopping by!  I have a fun Christmas card to share using the Scandinavian Christmas Card cart.

I cut the dove twice in green and white and trimmed the white layer so the sprig of greenery would show.  I embossed the blue layer with one of my snowflake embossing folders.  I love the soft colors on this one.  Reminds me of a beautiful winter evening star gazing....

Card dimension 5.5 x 4.25

Dove - 4.5 inches
Sentiment - 3.5 inches

SS278 ~ Dashing Through the Snow ~

Good Friday morning to you!  I'm popping in to share another Christmas card I created.   (I am whittling my list down...)  This one features the Sketch Saturday sketch and uses a recent North Coast Creations' release, Santa's Sleigh.  If you haven't had a chance to check out North Coast Creations please do!  There is currently a design team call open as well if you would like to apply.  Check out the NCC BLOG for all the details PLUS our mid month review of the last release!

Now on to the card...

and the sketch...

I opted to use multiple mats in white and red.  Coordinating DP by MME adds a bit of depth.  I stamped the image in a simple gray ink on white card stock and matted it for the focal point.  The sentiment (stamped in red ink) was added to the bottom.  Really a pretty simple card!  Another one that is easy to reproduce...  :-)  Thanks for stopping by!

Join me tomorrow for a couple of posts including a new Cricut project and a fun fall stamping project!  {{hugs}}

TMS218 ~ Vintage Santa ~

Happy Thursday!  The week is speeding by!  I'm still plowing through my Christmas cards...  frantically trying to get ahead...  So today, I have a lovely image from North Coast Creations , called Old Fashioned Santa.

My card was based on this week's Tuesday Morning Sketch, shown here...

This one uses a very simple color scheme, kraft and white card stock with a dash of red and green.  I embossed the card base before adding two simple matted white panels.  The image, stamped with brown ink on white card stock, was fussy cut and placed with dimensional foam.  A simple red poinsettia and die cut foliage (from Our Daily Bread Designs' Fancy Foliage Die) finish it off.

Very simple and easy to mass produce!  Perfect for your card making needs!  Thanks for stopping in!  I will see you tomorrow with another Christmas card!  {{hugs}}

Welcome!  It's time for another fabulous challenge at Word Art Wednesday.  We have reached the 100 challenge milestone!  Whoot, whoot!!!

A special thank you to both Lisa's Altered Art and Eureka Stamps  for providing prizes for this week's challenge!

This week we feature Ecclesiastes 3:1, an incredibly timely message as we go into the fall season...

Today's card was based on the weekly Retro Sketch.  I created a 5.5 x 4.25 inch card base and covered the front with a floral DP.  I printed today's scripture on white card stock and cut it at an angle.  I cut an additional piece of black card stock for contrast.  A bit of baker's twine tied at the top and some black rhinestones add interest.  I love this design!  It reminds me of a fun envelope.

Don't forget to check out Word Art Wednesday this week and play along!  We love to see your uplifting creations!  Thanks for stopping by!  {{hugs}}

 Today, I have two cards to share using a combination of fabulous stamps and dies!

Here's one using the Fall Flower Pumpkin image, coordinating Pumpkin with Flowers Die ,  Autumn Blessings' sentiment, and Fall Leaves and Acorn Die

I stamped the image on Copic compatible paper before coloring with a host of Copic pens.  The pumpkin has YR12, YR04, YR07, YR09, YR18 and V15 for shading.  I used a variety of fall colors to color the mums.  I stamped the sentiment on kraft paper and used one of the Fall Leaves and Acorn Die to define the sentiment.  Look closely and you will see a die cut square burlap panel under the colored and custom die cut image.  I added a bit of gold colored satin ribbon for fun.

And here's the second project featuring the Autumn Blessings stamp set and coordinating Fall Leaves and Acorn Die.  I used a watermark ink to stamp the "leaves" on coordinating card stock and cut/embossed with the new dies.  A sprig of greenery from ODBD's Fancy Foliage adds a fun touch.  An altered gold rhinestone flourish peeking from behind the acorn image adds a bit of flair.  I just love this time of year, don't you?
