A Look Back... North Coast Creations' March Release

Today we are taking a look back at North Coast Creations March Release! Here is the card I created using the Happy Spring set. 

 I chose to use a white card stock base and mat my image panel with dark green and 3 DP paper punch circles on one side.  I stamped the sentiment on the bottom with dark green ink and added three flat backed yellow beads with glue.  I colored the image with Copics and sponged in clouds with a soft blue ink and scalloped circle for my mask. 

 

Here is the stamp set I used today.  Isn't it just the cutest image?

Welcome to North Coast Creations' March Release!

Good morning!  Welcome to North Coast Creations' March Release!  Easter is just around the corner and you know that means lots of cute bunny, Easter basket and baby duck images.  NCC didn't disappoint!  The images were SO fun to color!  I know you will like them just as much as I do.

Both images were colored with Copics.  And as you can see I tried to pull out all the spring colors and patterns I could find!

Thanks for stopping by!  I hope you are enjoying all the fun 5th anniversary festivities at Our Daily Bread Designs.  Don't forget to stop in Saturday and check out the special anniversary releases!  I promise you will LOVE them!  Kelley and crew have outdone themselves! 

In the meantime, I have a bright card featuring one of ODBD's March releases, Happy Spring.  I also took the opportunity to use the Mojo Monday sketch.  I haven't had much time to play as of late.  An illness has set me back a bit.  But with our Lord's mercy I am able to return.  Thank you Lord! 

So let's hop right in with today's card...

Definitely a brighter pallet than I normally work with...  red, orange, greens and the like...  Inspiration struck when I saw a bright pack of paper on my desk.  Shhhh...  it's even a summer one...  DON'T TELL!  lol....

Happy Spring!

OK, maybe I am just a tad early...  but with a few days of unseasonably warm weather in the Bluegrass, I just had to sing!  I so love this time of year.  The grass starts to turn green, trees wake from their slumber and my daffodils are peeking out of the ground.  Even the Saints are shedding...  a SURE sign that spring is around the corner...  lol...

 

Speaking of spring, if you haven't had a chance to check out Our Daily Bread Designs' March collection, you are missing out!  There are two sets this month...  baking sets and spring sets.  And this month Our Daily Bread Designs'  will celebrate their 5th anniversary too!  Look for exciting challenges and all around fun this coming week! 

 

In the meantime, let me show you a fun card using the Happy Spring set.  I stamped the image on kraft paper and colored each of the Pussy Willows with a white pencil.
