~ With God By Your Side ~

As I write this post, I am battling a terrible sinus infection...  fever, headaches, sneezing...  the whole nine yards!  It looks like the next few days, Easter included, may be a little less eventful than usual.  This particular sentiment couldn't have come at a more perfect time!  The fever, the aches, struggling to gain my breath...  God really does have it!  And when that day comes (hopefully many years down the road) that I am ushered into His presence...  He got me through it!  Jesus Christ sacrificed it all, down to His very own life so I can be with Him.  You see, if you draw your strength from our Lord and Savior, nothing can stop you!  Not even this old nasty bug!  Blessings...

It's the Little Things

When you are feeling blue or suffering physical ailments, it is the little things that lift your spirits.  It's the text from a friend checking in on you, a note from your Sunday School class letting you know they missed you last week...  It really is the small stuff that makes a BIG difference.  It is times like those when it is important to listen for that still, small voice and KNOW that God is near.  Hopefully, this card will brighten someones day and remind them to stay close...
