Hope Anchors the Soul

Good morning!  I hope this Friday finds you making plans for a wonderful weekend.  Tomorrow, I will be back with a new post for Our Daily Bread Designs featuring the new July release.  But in the meantime, I wanted to circle back and show a card featuring a Stamp Die Duo from last year, You Anchor Me.

I actually used the Scalloped Chain Die from this month's release as a fun accent panel.  It is in the rich blue over the water themed DP from the Nautical Paper Collection.  I used a die from the Rectangles Die nested with the Circle Scalloped Rectangles Die to create the focal frame.  Here are a few of the items you see used today...

A Look Back at Our Daily Bread Designs' December Release

Good morning and welcome to today's look back at Our Daily Bread Designs' December Release.  I created a card for today's post using Pennant Flag Verses stamp set, Double Stitched Pennant Flags Die and coordinating Pennant Flags Die.  For more inspiration using the December Release be sure to visit the ODBD Blog.

I started with a white card stock card base measuring 5.5 by 8.5 inches, scoring and folding at 4.25 inches.  I then added a red card stock base measuring 5.5 x 4.25 inches to create my base.  I pulled out ODBD's Majestic Medallion Die and cut the soft silver frame and DP layer.  (You can find the DP in ODBD's Holly Jolly Paper Collection.)  I then added a die cut layer using red card stock.  I embossed the sentiment (from ODBD's Pennant Flag Verses) on red card stock and added additional banners using the nested Double Stitched Pennant Flags Die and Pennant Flags Die.
