Our Daily Bread Designs April Release and Blog Hop

Happy April Fool's Day!  I have nothing but treats to share today BECAUSE it is release day at Our Daily Bread Designs!  It is truly a blessing to be able to share such beautiful and fun products with you each and every month.  This one is particularly special for me because it features sewing and quilts!  I have several quilts passed down from my grandmothers, great-aunts and my own mother.  I love the stories the fabric tells.  My Mom, who will be 80 this year, likes to point out the pieces of fabric feed sacks that went into the quilts her own mother made.  I love looking at the quilts my own mother has meticulously hand stitched.  And even though I have ZERO talent when it comes to fabric...  at least I can play with paper!

So here is the first project featuring A Time to Mend stamp set, Star Quilt Die and new Americana Quilt Paper Collection.

Our layers...

Black Card stock - 5.25 x 11.5 inches; scored and folded at 5.25 inches

White Card Stock - cut slightly larger than quilt block

Lori, your cards are awesome. Really feelin' the one using the Americana paper. If you can do this good with paper, I'll bet you can work with actual fabric, too. You do realize that you are bordering on stained glass as well.;) Way to decorate a bedroom, huh?

Great cards! Love these sentiments and dies. My mom is a quilter and I've got several of her quilts around the house. Your paper piecing is "akin" to fabric piecing! :) Looks just as pretty! :)
