ODBD ~ Thinking of You !

No, I haven't dropped off the face of the earth. There were a few days when I felt like I might. LOL

Christmas Eve was one of those days. I felt unusually drained. Christmas Day was much the same. But since John and I were hosting, I thought I was just worn out from all the family fun and frolic. Thursday and Friday were spent battling a raging fever and congestion. By Monday I forced myself to visit the doctor. Nausea, fever, the whole nine yards this past week... so much for starting out the new year...  :-P

No blogging here for the past few weeks my friends... My Christmas tree was stripped of its ornamentation (in phases) but it has not made it out of the house... I told John that I might just tie some Easter eggs on it and call it done... :-) Might as well laugh about it, right?   This too shall pass...

So here's today's card...

Today's card features a couple of new releases from Our Daily Bread Designs'

Plus a special Spellbinders die for Our Daily Bread Designs' here...

Hope to be back up and crafting full-time soon...

Blessings...

Lori

I'm so sorry for your illness. I suffered for Thanksgiving and you are right, it will pass. Feel better soon. Those Summer Fresh papers are perfect for this card. Very beautiful card. We'll definitely look forward to your return to full time as you are always a great inspiration.

Lori, I had to comment, lol. I, too, still have an undecorated tree up. Unbelievably, my husband and I never got our tree decorated-yikes, I know. Hate to admit it, but I lost time somewhere and had to get to shopping and then the kids came home. We celebrate on the 24th. My husband was going to go get all the ornaments that morning (he knew I wasn't happy), and I had to laugh. We went away for New Year's and came back sick w/ the same virus as you. I'm sitting here looking at my tree, ugh. I'm determined this year has to be better. Right? Haha.

great card! Hope you're feeling better now. My tree is still up. LOL Hubby and son started to take ornaments off today but didn't get even half off.

Oh, hope you're feeling tops now, Lori. This card is stunning, as always. I'm going to try your technique on a couple of tins. Always thought they'd be good for something when the mints were done!! Thanks for explanation. You never fail to inspire! Blessings, Ruth Ann
