Faithfulness

I am the queen of excuses. I'm always overbooked and stressed. Can you relate? Taking on extra projects at work, helping friends out with commitments, taking care of my Mom... there just doesn't seem to be enough hours in the day! And this scripture seems to sum it up nicely. I can always count on the Lord to be faithful even if I fail to give him my best!

Today's card is a little different for me. I normally stay away from vintage but this particular scripture seemed to need something soothing. There are quite a few details on this card that are easy to miss. I actually took the butterfly image from the ODBD Faith set and stamped it on the designer paper. Look closely behind the scripture panel (on the left) and you will see a faint image. I used Ranger Distress Ink. I also distressed the edges of the DP with chalk. All in all, this card has a different feel for me. I kinda like it! I hope you do as well! Hope you are having a wonderful week!
