Fall on the farm means harvest time. In this part of Kentucky that means the hay is baled and the tobacco is hanging in the barn. The evenings are getting longer and the temperature is getting lower. There is a slight breather for those of us who make our living off of the land... very brief. Soon it will be time to take down and strip tobacco. Farming is a 24-7, 356 day a year job. But there is none like it! I am sending this birthday card to my daughter-in-law who recently moved with my step-son to Missouri. I hope it reminds her of home and how much she is loved and missed! Hope you have a great day!
