~ Welcome Spring ~

Good morning!  The weather is getting much better here thankfully.  And I am looking forward to getting out and about to work in the yard.  The tulips haven't shown themselves yet since the weather had been so cold.  So I had to create my own using a few new items from Our Daily Bread Designs.  I decided to color these tulips white for a bit softer look.  And I added them to a basket created with an older favorite from ODBD.

I embossed the basket image with a brown sugar EP on kraft before cutting with the coordinating die.  I added two tulip images, colored and die cut.  I love the ease of the Side Step Card Die.  No more pulling out the paper trimmer and trying to remember where to cut and how far!  :-)

A Look Back at the March Release at ODBD

Good morning!  Welcome to a special look back at Our Daily Bread Designs' March Release.  Today, I have a Fun & Fancy Fold card, featuring the Tulip stamp set and coordinating Tulip Die.  For more inspiration using the March release be sure to visit the ODBD Blog.  

So here is my project using a Flower Pot Card from the Fun & Fancy Fold card collection...

I custom cut DP from ODBD's Pastel Paper Pad for my pot and edging.  I used white card stock along with ODBD's Beautiful Borders Die for edging.  I stamped my sentiment (Tulip stamp set) on white card stock and framed it using the Mini Label Die set.  I stamped my image (Tulip stamp set) with Copic compatible ink on Neenah card stock.  I colored the images (3 sets) with Copics and die cut each with the coordinating Tulip Die.  I used the sentiment insert (which slips inside the flower pot pocket) to adhere my three colored tulip images to.  When you slip it back inside the "pot" it looks just like a fun spring bouquet!

Spring Has Sprung with Our Daily Bread Designs' March Release

Good morning and welcome to Our Daily Bread Designs' March release and Blog Hop!  The Design Team has several fun projects to share using new March release items.  I have two projects to share today using the new Daffodils stamp set, Daffodil Die, Side Step Card Die, Tulips stamp set, coordinating Tulip Die and the new Circle Scalloped Rectangles Die.  I love the month of March and the lovely daffodils that normally make their appearance.  Things have been a bit warm in my part of the country and as a result, the daffodils started their show a week ago!  So in honor of my favorite spring flower, here is my first project using Daffodils, Daffodil Die and the fun Side Step Card Dies...
