My Favorite Bird

And it's not because it is the state bird of Kentucky.... I love cardinals! There is something so cheery about seeing the bright red male against a beautiful new snowfall. And even though it is very mild here all too soon the snow will come. And just when the days are their shortest and winter seems so long, Mr. Cardinal will come right along and perk me up with his shot of color! Red is one of my favorite colors anyway. And it definitely improves the mood (unless you are a bull...) lol

I decided to showcase one of my favorite stamps (a cardinal of course) against a very plain background. I wanted to mimic the beauty of a bright cardinal against new snow. Take pleasure in the bright spots in life! Enjoy a little shot of color in your creations!

Blessings
