This week I have been in a Christmas mood. And even though the halls aren't decked and the tinsel isn't strung, I've belted out a few Christmas songs! Is that crazy??? It seems like July 4th is my Christmas trigger. Immediately, I start to plot and plan what my cards will look like that year. And fortunately, this year I have already put some of those ideas into motion!
I created today's card for a couple of challenges. The first to honor this week's Featured Stamper at Splitcoast, Cynthia Olheiser. If you haven't had a chance to admire her work check out her SC gallery. I added some bling (in this case Stickles) to my card to enter the Stampin' Sisters in Christ weekly challenge. This week the challenge is to create something with sparkle.
So here's my creation...
The top layer is embossed with Cuttlebug's Distressed Snow folder. My snowflake is a die cut heavily coated with Stickles. Every snowflake needs a little flourish and this one by Recollections does the trick. The sentiment (Our Daily Bread Designs' retired Peace & Joy set) is set off with Memento's Danube Blue ink. A nice breath of cool air... Thanks for stopping by!
Blessings...

TLS384 ~ Let a Little Snow Shine In
I know! How could I possibly be talking about snow? But with temps in the triple digits here in Kentucky I can honestly say a little snow would be nice! So with that in mind, I took a sun burst challenge at Splitcoast and turned it into a snow burst one... The challenge was to create a project with rays. Here's my interpretation...
