~ Friends are Kind ~

For the most part friends are kind...  I have learned over the years that the ones who are not...  well it is best to part ways!  So in honor of all my friends who still manage to love me... here is a fun card featuring an unusual star...

I started with a white card stock base and added a mat using ODBD's Majestic Medallion Die and Smoky Slate card stock.  I used ODBD's Double Stitched Rectangles Die to create a mat and focal panel using Pool Party and Foxy Friends Paper Pad DP.  I stamped my sentiment with Versafine Black Onyx ink on white card stock and used ODBD's Double Stitched Circles Die to frame it.  A bit of black and white card stock plus a SU Punch helped me create my "little stinker."

For my sentiment....  Stampin' Up - Garden In Bloom
Stampin' Up Punch - Fox Builder Punch
Stampin' Up - A Little Foxy 8 1/2 x 11 Card Stock
Stampin' Up - A Little Foxy Designer Series Paper Stack

Thanks for stopping by!  Until next time...

Blessings...

A Look Back at Our Daily Bread Designs' April Release

Happy Friday!  Today I have a look back project for you from Our Daily Bread Designs.  Here is the card I created using the April release, Quilted With Love and the new Dresden Quilt Die.  Be sure to check the end of today's post for the DT links.  I promise they have even more inspiration using the April release.  And don't forget to visit the ODBD Blog also!

I decided to go with a decidedly neutral palette for this project, pulling in a few ODBD favs as well...

So here is a simple breakdown of the layers...

Ecru Card stock - Measuring 4.25 x 11 inches, scored and folded at 5.5 inches
Crumb Cake Card Stock - ODBD's Flourished Star Pattern Die
Ecru Card Stock - ODBD Die - Dresden Quilt Die - Some pieces removed to show DP
Ecru Card Stock - ODBD Die - Stitched Ovals Die
Sentiment - Espresso Truffle Ink - ODBD Stamps - Quilted With Love

And here are the April release items you see today...

and some old favorites...

Be sure to check out what the other design team members have cooked up for you!  Blessings..

Our Daily Bread Designs' Bronze Anniversary

Good morning and welcome to a very special release day at Our Daily Bread Designs!  This year marks 8 years that Our Daily Bread Designs has been in business!  I was blessed to discover ODBD several years ago when I was looking for stamps that reflected my Christian faith.  I have been even more blessed to be a part of ODBD's design team over the last few years.  Kelley and Rick Holland have blessed many people with their lovely stamps, dies and papers.  And I have been honored to work for them and with one of the best group of designers in the business.  Here's to many more years sharing these wonderful products!

And 8th Anniversary is a very special one.  And bronze is the traditional gift for this anniversary.  A few of my DT sisters have some lovely "bronze" projects to share.  AND at the end of today's post, be sure to check out how you can hop along and possibly win a fun anniversary prize!  Here is my project using the March stamp release, Keys to Happiness!

Here are the fabulous layers...

5.5 x 8.5 Card Stock cocoa base; scored at 4.25 inches
Gold Poster Board mat - ODBD's Flourished Star Pattern Die
Cocoa CS - ODBD's Layered Lacey Squares Die (positioned to resemble a diamond)
ODBD's Double Stitched Squares Die in Gold Poster Board and ODBD's Winter Collection DP
Ecru Card Stock - Ornamental Crosses Die and Stitched Ovals Die (sentiment panel)
Sentiment - Black ink - ODBD's Keys to Happiness

Here's a few of the March release items you see...

And the celebration doesn't end today!  We have special activities all week including a special Anniversary Release later this week!  So be sure to check back this week!

And as promised here are the details for today's blog hop!  Thanks for stopping by!
