It's a New Month and a New Year at Our Daily Bread Designs!

Welcome to 2015!  And welcome to release day at Our Daily Bread Designs.  I can't wait to share a few of the new products ODBD has released this month!  And to make it even more exciting, three randomly selected winners will each receive a $25 gift certificate to the ODBD Store, to be used toward the purchase of ODBD Stamps found in the "stamps column" of the website just for commenting on the Design Team cards

You have until January 2, 2015 at 9:00 p.m. EST to leave your comments on the Designers Blogs for a chance to win!  So hurry!  The winners will be posted on the ODBD Blog on January 3rd, so be sure to check back there to see if you won!

Here are a couple of projects I have for you today.  The first one features the new Just a Note
set.

I started with a white card stock base and added black matting along with some DP by Our Daily Bread Designs.  I stamped the image on Copic compatible paper, coloring the flowers and leaves and using a couple of older ODBD dies to create the black frame.  A seam binding bow, blossom and die cut leaves finish it off.  Look closely and you will see where I lightly sponged gray ink all around the image after die cutting.

Now here is the new set I used...

along with some old favorites...

CHALKBOARD COLLECTION 6x6 PAPER PAD

CSBD55 - VINTAGE LABEL DIES

CSBD56 - VINTAGE FLOURISH PATTERN DIES

CSBD33 - FANCY FOLIAGE DIES

And if the first set wasn't enough to knock your socks off...  take a peek at this card using Music Speaks...

I stamped this image with a bright blue ink and colored the vines and flowers with glitter glue.  I stamped the sentiment (also found in this set) on white CS and framed it with a fun star die.

Here's the new set...

and more old favorites...

G595 - SHINE ON

and coordinating die...

CSBD79 - SPARKLING STARS DIES

and paper from last month's collection...

PATRIOTIC COLLECTION 6x6 PAPER PAD

Please don't forget to leave the other designers some love!  You just might be a winner for commenting on one of the blogs.  If you get lost along the way please stop by the ODBD Blog to find your way.  Thanks again and many blessings for  you as we enter the new year!

Great stamp sets & great cards. Some of the things that catch my eye the most are way that black & white paper sets off the treble clef on the first card, and the way you stamped the message on the star on the second card.
