MOJO223 ~ The Road Less Traveled

Thanks for stopping in! If you are looking for my ODBD Shining the Light post click HERE...

This month has been a special anniversary month for Our Daily Bread Designs. During the anniversary release, the designers were given the opportunity to submit a quote, sentiment or scripture to be created into a stamp. My dear challenge teammate Rosemary Dennis selected a wonderful quote by Robert Frost. I thought it would lend itself to the most recent Mojo Monday sketch shown here.

And here is my interpretation using Rosemary's favorite quote...

I combined card stock (black, ecru and off white) with DP by My Mind's Eye. I stamped the sentiment and used a Spellbinder die to emboss and cut it. A few sprigs of greenery created with Cheery Lynn & Spellbinder dies add some light. The flower? A lovely gift from one of the other ODBD designers, Sabrina. Thanks again! Enjoy! Stop back in this week as I have a few Cricut posts to share plus more fun ODBD projects! Blessings...

MOJO 223 - Spring Has Sprung!

Yes, I KNOW I am pushing the seasons! But this lovely paper pad from Echo Park made me THINK spring! So with this week's sketch challenge at Mojo Monday in mind...

I came up with the following card...

I really like the bright primary colors! It is definitely not as "girly" as what I normally do but I likey!!!!! I really love the cute little birdies I cut out and popped up with dimensional foam. I hope you do too! Blessings...
