Welcome to Our Daily Bread Designs' July Release and Blog Hop!

Welcome to this month' release at Our Daily Bread Designs!  We have a wonderful group of floral images and sentiments to share along with some beautiful new dies!  The layering possibilities are endless!

And along with beautiful projects to share, we have a blog hop!  This month, three randomly selected winners will each receive a $25 Gift Code to the ODBD Website just for commenting on the Design Team cards!  You have until July 2, 2016 at 9:00 p.m. EST to leave your comments on the Designers' Blogs for a chance to win.  The winners will be posted on the ODBD Blog on July 3rd.  Be sure to check back there to see if you won!  You will find a complete list for the blog hop at the end of my post today.  But first I have a couple of fun cards to share using some of the new products!

First let's look at the new Sweet as Perfume stamp set and Layered Lacey Ovals Die in action...

I love coloring floral images and this little gem was a totally new one for me.  After coloring, I fussy cut the image and added it to the corner.  I thought it would pop with added dimension.

Here's a closer look at the image...

So here is the break down on how I created this card layer by layer...

5.5 x 8.5 inch white card stock (CS) base; scored and folded at 4.25 inches

  1. Green and white polka dot designer paper (DP) - ODBD's Birthday Brights Paper Pad cut/embossed with ODBD's Pierced Rectangles Die
  2. White CS - ODBD's Lavish Layers Die
  3. Green DP - ODBD's Birthday Brights Paper PadPierced Rectangles Die
  4. White CS - ODBD's NEW Layered Lacey Ovals Die
  5. Green DP - ODBD's Birthday Brights Paper PadOvals Die
  6. White CS - ODBD's NEW Layered Lacey Ovals Die
  7. Sentiment - ODBD's NEW Sweet as Perfume
  8. Copic Compatible Paper - Image - ODBD's NEW Sweet as Perfume; colored with Copics, fussy cut
And the new stamp set and die you see on this project...

and the Copic colors I used for this image...

Blossoms - YR68, Y17, Y13, Y000, BV0000, BV000
Leaves - YG03, YG93, YG67

and some other ODBD goodies I used on this card....

So now for the second project featuring the new You Bless Me stamp set
 and Ornate Ovals Die...

and a closer photo of the image...  also fussy cut...
