October Blog Hop at Our Daily Bread Designs!

Happy Thursday and welcome to the October release hop at Our Daily Bread Designs!  I am so excited to share some new items that are perfect for creating holiday projects!  There are fabulous dies, coordinating stamps and a new paper collection!  And they are perfect for your holiday card making projects!  Every month, we have a fabulous blog hop that allows you the opportunity to win a $25 gift certificate to the ODBD store.  Three randomly selected winners will each receive a $25 certificate toward the purchase of ODBD stamps found in the "ODBD stamps column" of the
website just for commenting on the Design Team cards!  You have until October 2, 2015 at 9:00 p.m. EDT to leave your comments on the Designers Blogs for a chance to win!  The winners will be posted on the ODBD Blog on October 3rd.  So be sure to check back there to see if you won!  I bet you are already plotting what projects you could create with your selections!  ;-)

Be sure to check the end of today's post for all of the links!  And don't forget to leave us some love because you don't know which blog will have a comment selected!

So here is my first project featuring the new Delightful Decorations stamp set, coordinating Delightful Decorations Die and new Christmas Collection 2015 paper pad.

I started with an ecru card stock base measuring 5.5 x 4.25 inches and added a rich burgundy mat.  I trimmed the DP down slightly smaller and adhered it to the mat panel.  I stamped my ornament and greeting on ecru card stock before using the coordinating die to cut it out.  I added a Christmas spray to the corner using a few older favorites to create the branches, holly and poinsettia.

Here are the new items you see...

But, wait!  I have another one to share using the Christmas Carols stamp set and more lovely paper from the Christmas Collection 2015...

I started with a burgundy card stock base and added a layer of gold poster board.  I LOVE this snowflake print DP, don't you?  I added a gold doily mat with the burgundy doily die on top.  I stamped the sentiment on white card stock and lightly sponged it before removing from the die.  A white poinsettia and leaves adorn the corner...

So here is the new stamp set you see...

OH...so many new stamps to look forward to get. These are beautiful cards. Love the doily die in the background of the last card. Another great idea on how to use those kind of dies.

I am out of my comfort zone with the color burgundy but both of your cards changed my mind. They look so elegant. I love that the ornament from the Delightful Decorations set and the Christmas Carol sentiment stands out on each card. The papers and the poinsettias are beautiful as is the snowflake DP. Very nice job on both cards.
