WAW129 ~ Draw Near to God ~ Psalm 73:28

Welcome!  It's time for another
fabulous and inspirational challenge at Word Art Wednesday.

Check out the Word Art Wednesday site for all of the details including this week's digital scripture, how to link your creation AND info on some fabulous prizes!

A special thank you to Moonlighting Etsy Store & Paper Temptress for providing our prizes this week!  And a special shout out to Paper Temptress for providing ALL of the FABULOUS papers I used on my project today.

Here it is...

For the base I chose Paper Temptress' White Velvet and added matting from Yellow Crepe and Deep Blue Crepe.  When cut they have a wonderful distressed edge which I chose to accentuate.  I then printed the sentiment onto Opal Mica (the Metallics collection) and cut it down to size before embossing.  I just LOVE how crisp the embossing looks!  I then stamped my leaves and blossoms on the same Opal Mica and hand cut each one.  I added them with adhesive and set a few microbeads in dimensional glaze to create the blossom's center.  A cut and arranged pearl flourish finishes it off!  I just love it!

So here's what I used...

Papers by Paper Temptress - White Velvet, Opal Mica (Metallics), Yellow Crepe & Deep Blue Crepe
Inks - Close to My Heart - Topiary & Moonstruck
Misc. - Microbeads & Pearl Flourish by Recollections
Embossing Folder - The Paper Studio - A2 Bracket Frame
Stamps - Verve - Bloom & Grow

Thanks so much for stopping by!

The yellow and blue paper make a super great backdrop. The image looks great on that white velvet paper. Blessings, Carole
