WT443 ~ The Smallest Seed ~

Good morning!  I'm so happy you could stop by!  Today, I have a challenge card to share.  The weekly Ways To Use It challenge at Splitcoast features honey.  I had no idea it is National Honey Month!  I love honey and eat it any chance I get.  I found out just recently that honey can taste different in various regions of the country.  Apparently, the flowers/pollens available in a geographic area determine the taste of the honey!  How cool is that?  Does that mean a top notch scientist can determine where a particular honey comes from by analyzing its makeup?  Hmmmm...  If anyone knows the answer, I would LOVE to know!!!!

While I wait for the answer, I will share a fun "bee"utiful card!  Sorry!  I just had to do that!  :-)  Can you "bee"live it?  STOP!!!!!

The card base is yellow card stock with a layer of black.  I embossed the top and bottom of my sentiment panel with a honeycomb EF.  The tiny "bee" is an image stamped from Our Daily Bread Designs' Simple Things set.  I fussy cut it and added it directly to the panel with dimensional foam.  A bit of glitter glue added to his wings finishes him off.  Super easy!

Lovely card! I bee-lieve the honey's taste is determined by the plants from which the bees take the pollen -- so if the bees are next to a field of clover you get clover honey -- no bees have to be examined in the determination at all! (I have a cousin who kept bees.)
