TSTR124 ~ Patriot in Pink ~

Normally when I create a patriotic card I pull out red, white and blue.  This time I decided to go with a decidedly more "feminine" feel.  I love this quote by Abraham Lincoln.  It speaks volumes about the huge responsibilities any freedom loving nation has and in particular it's leaders.

Freedom isn't always easy to maintain.  Abraham Lincoln is a prime example of someone who gave so much of himself trying to keep our torn and battered country together.  Photos of him later in his presidency reveal a tired and worn man, one bearing a crushing load of responsibility.  It is important as Christians that we pray for our leaders.  We may not always agree with them but it is our responsibility to pray for them.

So take a few moments today to praise God for all of your blessings and for my friends in America, offer a pray for our great nation and her leaders.  With God, all things are possible!  Blessings...
