ODBDSLC117 Sketch Challenge Continues

It is time for another Our Daily Bread Designs Shining the Light Challenge! And this challenge will last for 2 weeks!

Last week we revealed this sketch for you!
There's still time to enter!  We have one more week remaining!

To make the challenge even more fun, we will be giving out a prize, a $15 gift certificate to be used toward stamps at the Our Daily Bread Designs store!! If you are not using ODBD stamps, please do not enter more than once. Additional entries without using ODBD stamps will not be commented on nor will they qualify for prizes.

While it is not required to use Our Daily Bread Designs images and sentiments on your creations, we would love to see them if you have them! As a way of recognizing those who do use Our Daily Bread Designs stamps, we will again be choosing 1 to 2 creations to spotlight for our Shining the Light Award. In order to qualify for this award, however, you must use Our Daily Bread stamps and have your submission added to Mr. Linky by Sunday, August 5th at 8 p.m. EST. (This challenge will last 2 weeks). If you upload your creations to Splitcoast Stampers or any other online gallery, please use the keyword ODBDSLC117. When creating your posts on blogs please include a link to our challenge.

And my project for the week...

The card measures 4.25 x 5.5 inches. For my base I selected a black card stock with an ecru matting. The DP is from My Mind's Eye Sunshine Collection!  I took two coordinating patterns and nestled them side by side on the ecru matting.  I distressed each layer with a distressing tool and inked the edges lightly.  Becca's Peg Bow Maker made easy work of this satin bow!  I added a fun embellie by Recollections and a crochet button with blossoms in the corner.  Very simple and super fun!

Thanks for popping in!  Hope you have a great week!

Lori

Hi Lori! This is just beautiful. Your cards are always so pretty, and of course, I always hope to see them linked up at Word Art Wednesday. :)

You are this week's lucky winner, and I just need you to email me with your mailing address, or you can leave it as a comment on the blog and I will simply delete it rather than post it when I modify it.

Congratulations, thanks for playing with us, and I hope to see more of your beautiful cards in our challenges!

Blessings,
Karen L
