ODBDSLC113 ~ Three or MORE, Please!!!

It is time for another Our Daily Bread Designs Shining the Light Challenge!  This week we have a real challenge for you!! Let’s see you use three or more stamps on the FRONT of your creation. They can be images, backgrounds or sentiments but you must use three or more stamps.

To make the challenge even more fun, we will be giving out a prize, a $15 gift certificate to be used toward stamps at the Our Daily Bread Designs store!! Entries for the prize must be submitted by Friday, June 27th at 8 a.m. EST. One random winner will be chosen and announced Saturday, June 28th. If you are not using ODBD stamps, please do not enter more than once. Additional entries without using ODBD stamps will not be commented on nor will they qualify for prizes.

While it is not required to use Our Daily Bread Designs images and sentiments on your creations, we would love to see them if you have them! As a way of recognizing those who do use Our Daily Bread Designs stamps, we will again be choosing 1 to 2 creations to spotlight for our Shining the Light Award. In order to qualify for this award, however, you must use Our Daily Bread stamps and have your submission added to Mr. Linky by Friday, June 27th at 8 a.m. EST. If you upload your creations to Splitcoast Stampers or any other online gallery, please use the keyword ODBDSLC113. When creating your posts on blogs please include a link to our challenge.

My creation for the week...

For this card I chose to use black and cream card stock.  The finished card measures 5 x 7 inches.  My matted layer (black card stock) was run through a paper crimper for added texture.  I stamped the sentiment panel base with two images, a daisy bouquet from Daisy and bees from Simple Things.  Both were stamped with Ranger Black Soot Distress Ink.  I elected to use a scripture set from the Seed Packet set and stamped it on scrap vanilla card stock.  I used coordinating Spellbinders to cut/emboss and frame the sentiment.  A black pearl flourish from Kaisercraft was nestled under the panel and for interest I added both a daisy and rose blossoms.  Some paper punched leaves finished it off.

Thanks for stopping in and be sure to check out what my other Sister Sticks have for ya... Blessings...

Your card is so pretty Lori. I love the way you used the black and cream without coloring them, and then added the flowers for the touch of color.

I've always loved that verse too. When I was little, my grandmother gave me a necklace with a mustard seed in it. On the back was that verse. It was one of my most treasured things she ever gave me.

Hello, my sweet friend, your card is absolutely amazing!! I love that you've left the daisies colorless and added that one daisy in the corner of the sentiment. Gives it that perfect little touch of color...LOVE it! I hope you are staying cool in KY! Hugs and blessings, Sabrina

Hi Lori - This card is SO pretty. I especially love the gem swirls that you've added as an accent. It really makes the focal point look with the scripture look amazing, yet embellished perfectly.
Thanks for sharing this beautiful card with us in this week's challenge at Word Art Wednesday, and for being such a blessing to us. We appreciate your participation SO much, and wish you a wonderful week!
