Throwback Thursday

Happy Thursday everyone! Today I am going to revisit another favorite creation from the last few years. This post was done about 3 months after I started blogging. It's fun to see just how much my "style" has changed over the last few years. Funny thing though... I still gravitate toward the same stamp sets. I guess some things never change, right? :-)

I promise to be back shortly with a new post. Things have been a little crazy around here! Thank you for your continued prayers. Hubby had an appointment with his rheumatologist yesterday. He will continue chemo (for arthritis) but will have to take another medication along with it. Please pray this will ease his discomfort. This appears to be the last thing they can really do to help his mobility as the arthritis is causing issues with his hips and knees. I did not realize until we married just how debilitating rheumatoid can be! We know it must be the Father's will, not our own. So we are both praying for direction on this.

Enjoy today's flashback into my card "archives" and I will be back soon with a new creation!

Blessings ~

I love using scriptures on my cards. But until now I generated it using Word on my computer. Our Daily Bread Designs has some wonderful stamps that relate to scripture. One of my favorites is Isaiah 40:31. I love the imagery of the eagle and particularly it's meaning to the United States. Hope you soar today too!

Materials List

Cardstock - Bazzill - White and Light Brown
Image and Sentiment - ODBD On Eagle's Wings
Ink - Memento - Tuxedo Ink
Markers - Copic
Ribbon - Offray 7/8 Grosgrain Brown
Pop Dots

Oh, Lori, I'm so sorry about your DH's medical issues. Our son suffers with rheumatoid arthritis but not nearly as severe as your hubby! Sending prayers.

Your card is beautiful. I don't have this set yet!

Surprise!!! It's Best Bunny!

There is something about Granny Apple Green that just brings a smile to my face!  When the first signs of Spring appear you are sure to see...
